This spaghetti plot is one of the best I've seen. I've seen a few of these in the past where the lines are so thick and dense that you lose sight of the actual places on the map. The lines being translucent and perhaps the color choice allows the viewer to keep areas of the map in sight. It also allows you to easily see where most projections coincide with each other.
