Did the gun death rate decline?

Possibly supposed to be a blood dripping effect.

I can't think of a more direct way to make sure your data is misinterpreted.

It took me a while to notice the major flaw (intended effect?) in this graph, so I thought I'd point it out - the values on the vertical axis are inverted, so that the graph drops where the gun deaths actually increase. The lead-in question actually made me think "Oh why, it did" at first.

Horrible graph.
